As I mentioned on your site, I think it will be really interesting for radiohead to release some data about how much they make with a big record company versus using this method.

Also, I think their large fan base gives them more flexibility.  A new band is probably more inclined to sign up with a major label because they get marketing, even if they have to sacrifice profits from record labels.  The internet has changed all that, but it will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.</description>
